two California centers need constant
care and our facilities team is
the place to be if you are handy
with a hammer or want an outlet
for your gardening skills.
Some of the areas that
you can contribute your time and
skills are:
Cage building
– basic carpentry skills needed
to both build new cages and keep
them safe and secure for our patients.
Landscape maintenance
– keep our current landscape
growing and help add to it with
native plants.
Victory Garden
– our baby ducks require a
lot of lettuce! Help design a garden
to provide fresh leafy greens all
summer for our resident ducklings.
Pool maintenance
– Our pools need daily cleaning
and maintenance. If you have pool
maintenance experience, we need
you.
Building maintenance
– If you are skilled in maintaining
systems (heating/cooling, plumbing,
electrical) volunteer your time
and expertise to a good cause.
Office help
– If you'd rather help in the
office, we need assistance with
keeping our databases current, answering
phones, donor outreach and more.
