O
rphaned ducklings are arriving at
International Bird Rescue in Cordelia,
signaling that spring has definitely
arrived. Last year IBRRC volunteers
successfully raised and released
over 1,300 orphan ducklings and

even higher.
To prepare for the thousands
of injured and orphaned waterfowl
and aquatic birds brought in during
their busiest time, spring and summer,
volunteer orientations will be held
monthly. The
next class with sign-up instructions.
Anyone at least 18 years
of age interested in volunteering
should sign up for an orientation
to learn more about the positions
available in the hospital, office
and Wings on Wheels program. Sign–up
for an orientation on our website
at http://www.ibrrc.org/volunteer_steps_nc.html
or call 707-207-0380 ext. 109.
